How Helpers are vetted
Six checks before a first visit, each one shown on the Helper's profile with its level and its date. If insurance lapses, the Helper is unlisted automatically.

Identity and liveness
Passport or licence plus a live selfie match, so the person on the profile is the person at the door.
DBS check, named honestly
Run by us through a registered body, with the level and date on the badge. Where the law allows an Enhanced check we run one; where it does not, the badge says Basic and means it.
Right to work
Documented and reviewed before listing, to the standard an employer would hold.
Confirmed references
Each referee answers to us directly through their own secure link, and a human reads every word.
Insurance verified
Public liability cover verified with its expiry on file, and enforced by the platform, not by promises.
Training, passed
The red line, safeguarding basics, and professional boundaries, trained and tested in full before any first visit. No Helper starts until they have passed every part.
Not a shield icon in a footer. The level and the date of each check, on the person you are actually inviting in.

You pay when you book
The full amount, shown plainly with the Helper's rate and our fee, charged once and never a penny in cash at the door.
Held safely, not by us
Your money sits with a regulated payment provider. If the Helper cannot accept, it returns to your card automatically, in full.
It moves when you confirm
After the visit note arrives you confirm with one tap, and only then is the Helper paid. Raise a problem instead, and the money freezes until a person has looked.
